Haulage & logistics

Websites for haulage firms that win freight contracts.

This is the sector we have done the most work in. Two of the four case studies on our portfolio are logistics companies, and both came to us with the same problem: the website did not look like the operation behind it.

The actual problem

You are being assessed, not browsed.

A transport manager looking for a subcontractor is not shopping. They are checking whether you can be trusted with a load, and they are doing it in about ninety seconds before they either request a rate or move on.

What they want is unglamorous and specific: what you actually run, where you cover, whether you hold the right licences and accreditations, and how quickly someone answers when they ask for a price.

Most haulage websites bury all of it under stock photography of motorways at dusk. The ones that win contracts put the fleet, the coverage and the compliance where a transport manager can find them in one screen.

What goes on a haulage site

Written for the person requesting a rate.

Freight buyers and domestic customers want different things. Most of this is aimed squarely at the commercial enquiry, because that is where the contract value sits.

Fleet pages with real detail

Vehicle types, capacities, trailer configurations and tail lifts. A transport manager needs to know whether you can physically take the load before anything else matters.

Freight quote forms that work

Collection and delivery postcodes, pallet count or dimensions, weight, and the date required. A form that captures those means you can price it without three emails back and forth.

Licences and accreditations

Operator licence, FORS level, ADR if you carry hazardous goods, CMR cover, RHA or Logistics UK membership. This is the compliance check, and it should not require an email to answer.

Coverage and depots

The regions you run, depot locations, and whether you handle same-day, next-day or scheduled. Pallet network membership matters here and is often left off entirely.

Specialisms stated plainly

Temperature controlled, hazardous, abnormal loads, container work, warehousing and fulfilment. These are the searches that bring qualified enquiries rather than time-wasters.

Built for a phone in a cab

A good share of this traffic is on mobile in poor signal. Lean pages, compressed images and no heavy scripts, so it loads on a bad connection.

Two real ones

Syncro Logistics and Nationwide Logistix.

Syncro Logistics

Rebuild and rebrand

Syncro were mid-transition as a company and the old website still looked like a tech startup. The wrong message entirely when you are trying to win freight contracts.

We rebuilt it with a logistics-first visual direction: service and fleet pages that speak to shippers, and a freight quote form that turns visits into enquiries. It finally looks like the logistics company it actually is.

Nationwide Logistix

Revamp and speed

The site existed, but it was slow and the design drifted from page to page. Not the first impression you want when you are pitching for national freight contracts.

We went through the entire site: fixed the inconsistencies, cut the load times down, and built a clear funnel for commercial enquiries. Fast, consistent, and built to win commercial work.

Logistics is the sector we have delivered the most work in, and the pricing is the same as everything else we do. Published, fixed, and without a VAT line at the bottom.

  • From £400, fixed before the project starts.
  • No VAT, because we are not VAT registered.
  • Typically 2 to 8 weeks depending on how many service pages you need.
  • Once it’s paid in full and live, the site and the domain are yours.
  • Ongoing support available if you want the fleet page kept current.

Common questions

What operators usually ask

Yes. Two of the four case studies on our portfolio are logistics operators: Syncro Logistics, a full rebuild and rebrand with fleet pages and a freight quote form, and Nationwide Logistix, a speed and consistency overhaul with a commercial enquiry funnel. It is the sector we have done the most work in.
Collection and delivery postcodes, pallet count or dimensions, weight, and the date required, at minimum. Add whether it needs a tail lift and any special handling. Getting those on the form is the difference between pricing a job straight away and losing two days to emails asking for details you could have collected up front.
Yes, and prominently. A transport manager assessing a new subcontractor is running a compliance check before a price comparison. Operator licence details, FORS level, ADR if you carry hazardous goods and CMR cover answer that check without an email. Leaving them off means the enquiry often never gets made.
For the ones you genuinely want more of. Temperature controlled, hazardous goods, abnormal loads, container haulage and warehousing all get searched in distinct terms by people ready to buy. Grouping them into one services page means competing for none of those searches properly.
Yes, and they should be routed separately. A shipper requesting a pallet rate and a household moving a single item want different information and are worth very different amounts to you. We build two clear paths so the commercial enquiry is not slowed down by a form designed for one-off customers.
